If it’s coming out of your speakers, then it’s probably a grounding issue, like there is a solder joint touching the metal case. I’m using an optical cable to my receiver. Are you talking about a buzzing or hissing coming from inside the computer case, or from your speakers? I purchased a new board same as before from a different retailer and it works fine. If not, can a bent pin cause this problem?

Also, if it is the pins z77a-hd65 may be able to fix them. It seems the digital and optical outputs work as they are available to use in Windows however i don’t have the hardware to test them.

If you have digital output enabled and have analog speakers hooked up of course it is going to not work. So that’s good news. Sorry, This Page Does not exist. Try disabling digital output. I’ll let you know how it went with the retailer when i get a reply from them.

I tried now, but still no audio. Could also be the PSU, if you have a spare might want to test with another.

Make sure to select a “best” answer once your issue has been resolved! AMD phenom IIx4 black edition 3. The sound doesn’t work inside or outside the case.

I’ve managed to get the front panel connection to give out some noise, but that’s all it is, noise. THis board is brand new, so maybe it’s worth sending in for a replacement I really don’t know how to fix it.

Could this be a hardware failure? Unfortunately the Audio is still not working: I’m pretty sure we could do z77a-gx65 alignment analysis on s of Board and find the same descrepencies.

Try turning Intel C-State completely off. If it was the latter, that could be the issue as well. What i have tried: I’ve installed the latest drivers. If from inside the case, it could be the voltage regulators on your video card making the noise.
